Our Heavenly Home

Our Heavenly Home

A lot of times I think, “God would you please comeback here or could I just come to you, so I’d be done dealing with struggles here on earth,” but then he said, “I gave you life, so that you may have it abundantly.”

John 10:10: The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.

Life was not meant for survival or a bootcamp in any way; it was meant for praise, not because we have these blessings around us, but because His presence supersedes the petty things we worry about, and for those who believe in Him, we go up to another level until we become like Christ. A heart like heaven, never offended, never looking down on one’s self and other people, but always looking up to The glory of His Father.

Ephesians 3:20: “Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”
Life was meant for praising God, in every season of life, so smile, pray, and worship God in His holiness!
Psalm 29:1: Ascribe to the LORD, O heavenly beings, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength. Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; worship the LORD in the splendor of holiness.

The purpose of praising God is knowing He is there with us in joy or trials, in times of loneliness and when we are overwhelmed. To those who trust Him, there is great comfort, peace and love that you cannot help but praise Him for all His wonderful works towards you.
This is the reason why you and I can truly share Jesus to others. He has given us all that we need, and that is His presence out of His unfailing love for us.

24/7 Praising God

24/7 Praising God

1. Praising God does not hype up on a Sunday and fall short on a Monday. Instead it continues to rise with each passing day.

2. Praising God is not removing yourself from the world, rather being joyful in a world where God placed you to be a light of his glory.

3. Praising God is being convicted of sin and being able to see and stay in his mighty grace.

4. Praising God is recognizing that you can only be right with God when you run to Him for counsel.

5. Praising God is knowing He loves you and does not count your sin. His steadfast love is forever.

6. Praising God means obeying His voice and keeping His promises.

7. Praising God is rejoicing in His plan even when it hurts inside. He is working in us, so everyday we are being freed of pride, lust, selfishness and entitlement, so we can receive his heavenly inheritance fully.

8. The world is passing, and yes, problems pass, but praise be to God whose love never fades.

9. He is perfection. He allows pain designed for growing your faith, one of the things you prayed for.

10. Praise God for everyday miracles, for every day I am by His side, not lacking of every good thing.

There is power in His love. His love is too mighty, to big for me to contain, so I’m sharing this to you!

A Friend Closer Than One’s Brother

A Friend Closer Than One’s Brother

He gives me breath and I rise from my sleep.

His goodness plays like a tune in my mind.

Though I fathom what the day brings,

He is quick to forgive.

He knows that I am weak, like dust blown by the wind.

As I go on with my activity, He waits patiently.

Finally, I sense with my ears, silence

with my eyes, solitude,

But in His eyes, I need no excuse not to be with Him every single second.

His spirit is with me, guiding me.

At times I may grieve when pain surrounds me.

But in my weakness, He strengthens me.

“I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world, you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33, ESV

There is a friend that loves at all times,

a friend who sticks closer than a brother,

a man who is King yet acquainted with our sorrows.

“He is a hiding place for me; He preserves me from trouble; He surrounds me with shouts of deliverance. Selah [a pause]” Psalm 32:2

Therefore, all the days of my life I will walk abundantly lacking nothing.

I will give praise to Him!

“For He is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety.” Psalm 18:2

“But the love of the LORD remains forever with those who fear him. His salvation extends to the children’s children.” Psalm 103:17, NLT

Jesus is my greatest friend, a friend who sticks closer than a brother, who endured death on the cross so that we may be reconciled to our Father in heaven and receive new life through His Holy Spirit and live with the newness continually and share it with others.

Have we let Him in? Have we received him in our hearts?

Have we let go of our past and embraced the present?

No turning back.

Time Is In Your Hands

Time Is In Your Hands

I often hear myself and people say, “I don’t have time to do this or that…” It seems like it’s a common excuse or a sickness perhaps with more people wishing they had “more time”.

It’s hard making a schedule and sticking to one, but I learned that no matter how hard you try to plan things, it won’t always turn out the way you planned.

Was there a shift in work schedule? An unexpected call? A visitor just happened to drop by? These are all a product of having time. Having time doesn’t mean your free. Human as we are, we always would want to fill up our day with the things that satisfy us, not unless we’re too tired or lazy to do anything!

Time has always been on our side, it has never changed or ever stopped turning, shouldn’t we turn with it and not against it?

Imagine holding the famous “Time Turner” from Harry Potter as shown in the picture.

Are you thinking of the things you want to go back and do differently? There’s a lot of regrets there, and that’s a waste of time thinking and doing something to change it. It’s already been done, but “you have more time to do better than the past.” You have time, don’t waste it thinking of what could have been done yesterday, spend it by thinking of today, what good can come out of today? You’ll see when you live for the moment, breathe and relax; time is in your hands. Produce something good out of it, and time will be kind enough to give you more!

Deuteronomy 4:39-40, NKJV: “Therefore you shall keep his statutes and his commandments, which I command you today, that it may go well with you and with your children after you, and that you may prolong your days in the land that the Lord your God is giving you for all time.”

Look to the Divine Maker, who hold your time.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO GO THROUGH A SERIES OF WRONGSjust to find what's right for you.get right with god.Have you heard of Hillsong United’s “Even When It Hurts” song? i feel connected to the song most especially in the line that says, “Even when it makes no sense to sing, louder than I’ll sing your praise.”

At some point in your life where you feel down, and your heart is to heavy to worship, just remember that that’s the time you need to raise your voice unto him louder because whatever you are going through, he is on top of it all. He knows you’re hurting, but right at that moment you need to lay your hurts aside and focus on Him. There is no problem to great for him to solve. He’s far bigger than any burden you carry.
