Stress is an unavoidable physical condition that makes us physically, emotionally and spiritually imbalanced.
It is not treated with temporary pleasures like food and all sorts of activities designed for fun, yet it is fought with a wholesome habit of being a better version of yourself.
To be able to take that step to a better you, you must be able to take that leap of faith and trust God to transform your lifestyle.
I had been living with eczema or skin condition characterized by itchy and inflamed patches on your skin which can spread to your head down to your toes. Some even have it worse, but the key to it is managing stress the right way.
After years of going to the doctor and receiving steroidal medications, I gave up because of the pricey medications and looked for alternative methods that were affordable for young professionals like me with the same effectiveness as those pricey medications.
At first, I tried expensive branded topical creams and supplements to boost my immune system since my condition is an immune system defect; it worked but I just didn’t think I was a good steward of my finances knowing I had bills to pay and people to help out.
I decided scrolling on Pinterest for natural remedies which worked for awhile, until I noticed that the results were different from using a product backed with quality research and government approval.
What worked well for me which I still used up to today are organic products HALAL and BFAD approved products from Aromacology. I roll on the tea-tree oil on affected areas of my skin, and I found that it’s great for treating pimples and pimple scars too. 🙂
The Aromacology Scrub Bar is also a good facial scrub. It has eight kinds—Cacao, Seaweed and Peppermint (for nourishing and deodorizing), Pineapple (for whitening), Almond Coffee (which I’m currently using that is for Exfoliating), Soya Milk (for moisturizing), Lemon and Tea Tree (for acne treatment), Grape Seed (for anti-aging) and Virgin Coconut Oil (for multi-purpose use). It gently removes dust and oil from your skin while moisturizing it.
I learned it from a friend which is truly a blessing to me. Maybe you’ve recently given up on answers for healing your own illnesses. It may not be a physical illness, it may be something emotional, and that itself is what is causing stress that is too hard for you to bear.
Examine yourself. Are you constantly drained of energy because of the lack of joy? Joy isn’t temporary, although it may be synonymous to happiness, joy is felt even when things don’t turn out the way you want them to. You still go on rejoicing over life, because there is contentment inside of you.
To be joyful is the secret recipe to a better life, and it starts with you!
Truly caring for one’s self is recognizing someone greater than you and all the stress you’re experiencing right now. And that someone is a God who loves you and cares for you!
We have been given everything by Him to permanently deal with the stress of this world and that is God the Father’s son, Jesus Christ. Jesus makes a way for us to deal with stress. In my case, it was through a friend who introduced me to an awesome product.
Maybe this blog is God’s way of encouraging you to truly take care of yourself. If so, I’d love to hear from you. Comment below!
